Between now and September 15th, we have the opportunity to eliminate an internal debt of $28,000.  The Leadership Board is calling this mini-campaign "Precious Stones."  The name comes from King David's gathering of gifts to build the temple in 1 Chronicles 29.  David said, "And now, because of my devotion to the Temple of God, I am giving all of my own private treasures of gold and silver to help in the construction.  This is in addition to the building materials I have already collected for his holy Temple…Now then, who will follow my example and give offerings to the Lord today?"  (vs. 3 & 5).

The invitation is simple:  Each contributing household who calls the Church "home" gives a one-time, over and above their regular giving gift of $300 designated to "Precious Stones."  This will enable us to pay back to our 1impact Fund the $28,000 we borrowed in 2012 to balance our budget. Paying back this internal loan will enable us to reach our 1impact goals.
