Series  Overview: This 5-week series during Advent focuses on our being Reunited with God and together now, and finally when Christ returns.  We join the Romans looking forward to Paul’s visit, as we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth and look forward to His return.

Reunited, part 5: 2017 Year In Review
Pastor Jeff Meyer

Focus:  Through Romans, in this 500th anniversary year of the reformation, we’ve been Re-Formed.  In Christ we are Refined, Redeemed, Released, Reinforced, Realigned and we ReConsecrate, Remain and are Reunited even as we look forward to finally being Reunited when He comes again.  2017 has been a big year of changes, but what will never change is God, His Word, the Gospel, and that He builds and binds us together as the body of Christ on earth, sent as light in the darkness, to go and make disciples of all nations.

Reunited, part 4: The Plan Revealed
Dan Luck

Focus:  This is the plan.  This baby.  He is God’s own Son.  He is Immanuel, which means, “God is with us.”  He was sent to save His people from their sins because God loves us so much.  This Advent, as we journey to Bethlehem to celebrate the birth of our Messiah and as we look forward to our Reunion when He returns, let our confidence be in God’s Plan to Reunite all people with Him, through Jesus Christ, forever. Amen.

Reunited, part 3: A New Family
Pastor Jeff Meyer

Focus:  Where was Paul’s family?  Through his conversion, missionary work, and all of his difficulties, we only hear once of a nephew helping him while he was in prison in Caesarea.  But as Paul nears the close of his letter to this church he hasn’t yet visited, we see the amazing new family God has blessed him with.  This Advent, as we journey to Bethlehem to celebrate the birth of our Messiah and as we look forward to our Reunion when He returns, let us also celebrate a Reunion together, our new family, the body of Christ.

Main Text: Romans 16:1-16

Reunited, part 1: Signs and Wonders
Pastor Matt Wipperman

Focus:  Neither Jesus, the 12 nor Paul tried to argue people into faith.  They told the truth, and let people see the power of God at work.  When John the Baptist asked if Jesus was the Messiah, Jesus sent his followers back to tell him about the signs and wonders they had seen that confirmed scripture.  People follow signs.  The Shepherds and Wisemen followed signs. In this Advent season, as we follow the signs to the manger, to find God in the flesh, may the power of God at work in our lives be a sign that others see and follow to Jesus.
