Confidence: Experience
1/28/18
Pastor Jeff Meyer

Focus:  New confidence is one of the 12 building blocks of a home that is springing with life. New confidence in God is not simply an axiom. It’s not something we read about or learn. Not just an intellectual truism or proposition. It is an experience. And as such, we get to experience it.  And, as the familiarity with this experience becomes our story, new confidence springs forth. Do you see it? Are you experiencing it?

Confidence: Insight
1/14/18
Pastor Jeff Meyer

Focus:  Confidence in God’s presence and purpose grows as we gain insight. God’s ahas, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, get planted deep in our psyche. And as they do our confidence is strengthened. And greater confidence produces a more brilliant witness to God’s glory. Like a bright light in a dark room, everything is clearer, the darkness is scattered. Life and hope abound.

Confidence: Awareness
1/7/18
Pastor Jeff Meyer

Focus:  New confidence is one of the 12 building blocks of a home that is springing with life. New confidence is the result of increased awareness. Our confidence in His purposeful activity in the world is solidified as our attentiveness is heightened. God Himself, through the prophet Isaiah asks, “I am doing a new thing. Do you not see it?” As we begin a new year with all of its hopes and dreams, we begin with this simple prayer, “Lord God, quicken our awareness. Let us become adept at seeing what you are doing. This year, would you assist us in becoming familiar with your work, your provision, your presence. We know that this is the foundation of homes springing with life. And we desire this life in our homes. Amen.”
