New Stories

Share a Story. We love simple stories about life. It could be about anything, yourself, your kids, a co-worker or a neighbor. It could be about your car, work, school, or pet parakeet. We're not looking for a literary piece, just something short and sweet, from the heart, as if telling a friend.

If photos relating to your story are online, you can provide links to up to five photos below. You can also email your photos to

How to tell your story.

Need help putting your story down on paper? We borrowed a few helpful hints from Pixar story artist Emma Coats:

  1. What's the essence of your story? Can you summarize it in 1 minute? Start there and build out.
  2. Once upon a time there was ___. Every day, ___. One day ___. Because of that, ___. Because of that, ___. Until finally ___.
  3. Simplify. Focus. Hop over detours. You'll feel like you're losing valuable stuff but it sets you free.
  4. How did this event make you feel?
  5. Finish your story, let go even if it's not perfect.
